Osmosis passed a proposal to restore allBTC backing after Nomic minted 40.65 nBTC without BTC reserves, dropping support to 63.97%. Osmosis froze 22.65 allBTC, will use frozen assets, 12.48 allBTC from community pool, and 4.7 BTC to fill the 39.84 BTC gap. v32 upgrade will invalidate and burn tainted nBTC, restoring full backing.
ChainCatcher 消息，Cosmos 生态去中心化交易所 Osmosis 已通过治理提案，恢复 Alloyed BTC 资产 allBTC 的储备支持。此前 Nomic 跨链桥在 6 月 25 日无比特币储备支撑的情况下铸造了 40.650602 枚 nBTC，其中 39.839746 枚被计入 allBTC 抵押品，导致 allBTC 支持率降至 63.97%。9 月 7 日 Nomic 暂停运行后，Osmosis 验证者通过紧急升级冻结了攻击者持有的 22.650608 枚 allBTC。
根据通过的提案，Osmosis 将把冻结的攻击者资产转移至流动性子 DAO，并动用社区池持有的 12.4838 枚 allBTC，以及取消原定 USDC 流动性部署所释放的约 4.7 枚 BTC，以填补约 39.84 枚 BTC 的缺口。后续 v32 软件升级将把被污染 nBTC 标记为无效、从 allBTC 合金中撤出并销毁，使 allBTC 持有者恢复全额支持。
提案显示，约 18 枚 BTC 已被转移出 Osmosis 并通过 Tornado Cash 洗钱，无法直接追回。Osmosis 表示将继续追踪剩余资金，并在 allBTC 余额清零、nBTC 从合金中移除后恢复 allBTC 的存取功能。
